3.1.9 Revision 3

Revision 3 has already been merged with the final build. And it has been uploaded already. Basically, Revision 3 fixes most of bugs relating to history, creating bookmarks and shortcuts.

To put it in detail this is what it covers:

  1. Locked History capturing: there should be a fix (it was not tested throughly but no bugs seem to have sprouted due to the fix) that will not make the back and forward buttons suddenly lock down and stop functioning
  2. Failing bookmarks titles: Creating bookmarks from the current page would bust if the title of the website had a | in it’s title, this has been fixed. Bookmarks that had a | in the title were also impossible to delete through the manager
  3. No new Shortcuts: Shortcuts were not saved due to a malformed check that slipped past testing
  4. Prebookmarks: 2 bookmarks are included by default, Mozilla.com and Google.com. Aside from being helpful, they are included in case someone’s build of ThunderBird chokes on a blank array (which is possible, but not likely).

On a side note, ThunderBrowse will probably be moving from gContextMenu to something else as the gContextMenu library is not reliable and will lose it’s effect overtime (this happens often and it failed while I was recording a demo [so I had to later edit that segment out of the video]). gContextMenu powers the Visit in Browser, Open in New Tab and Open in new Window menu items. A fix will probably be rolled out by version 3.2.1 [the rocket build].
