3.2.0.3 Released
Friday, November 30th, 2007Over 50,000 installs!
Friday, November 30th, 2007Well, upon recent check of stats from most of the download mirrors that have ThunderBrowse stats (I left out most of the mirrors I used last time), there is a grand total of 50,190 installs of ThunderBrowse. This number doesn’t include installs from this website though.
The numbers come from:
AMO TB + AMO ThunderUpdate + DL.com + VersionTracker+ Softpedia + Softonic US + Softonic
Awesome!
Developer Functions
Friday, November 30th, 2007ThunderBrowse has some functions that can be used by developers in their code. While this is not all of them (or many of the complex ones), it’s a good basic few. These are especially helpful when creating custombuttons, which have been supported since version 3.2.0.2.
The list of developer functions can be found here.
3.2.0.3 in progress
Friday, November 30th, 2007So version 3.2.0.3 covers a lot of errors with windows and such. So there are fewer errors in the error console.
- The first of the fixes is for a memory leak that was caused when the external window closed.
- Fixes problems with getting the windowType
- Fixed that bug that caused problems with
browserfortab.currentURIhas no properties/attributes which caused the urlbar to not clear addresses. - Fixed
getHostName()which previously returned null (would return Mozilla.org on https://addons.mozilla.org) - Added
getHost()which allows you to get the current host (like addons.mozilla.org on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/)
And yeah, that’s really about it. Most of these bugs were reported by Archaeopteryx.
It probably will be up on AMO soon.
