A reason?

I recently read a entry off of marketingpilgrim.com, which lists 10 reasons why you should use Thunderbird.

It’s a good list, and while I would actually have some different reasons, I must say that I can’t complain with reason #4.

For those that read the post, you might notice that #4 is ThunderBrowse.

Editor’s Note:Well there goes another 20 minutes of writing. Airpress just “conveniently” deleted half this post. And messed up the above link.

So, back to the point. ThunderBrowse apparently is “[other than] Thunderbird’s RSS management capabilities, this is by far the best part of my Thunderbird experience.”. I would agree with that but then I don’t really count because I wrote the software (but most people agree with his point).

Good stuff.

However his last line, “The only drawback to Thunderbrowse, is that it doesn’t handle JavaScript very well so you may have to load certain pages in a browser. Oh, the agony.” makes me wonder if he is talking about javascript in general or about javascript: links (which is true with the above statement, as it tends to not work in all cases. However if prompting is off, then they tend to work [see http://netvibes.com]).

You can also find these links on the press page now.
