Some new users might find that suddenly, they can’t browse anymore, and the error console states that myoldspec is not defined.
The bug is fixed in version 3.1.4, however a quick fix is to open about:config and add “http://www.google.com” (without quotes) to extensions.tbrowse.dropdown
If you are currently using version 3.1.3 and you clear your dropdown history, you will be unable to browse until you add a url to the above pref.
Somehow, the fix was not included into the final build of 3.1.3, it is now in 3.1.4.
ThunderBrowse has now been listed on Mashable’s huge array of top Thunderbird extensions and themes.
Check it out:
Wow, what can I say…I fixed the most annoying bug ever. It took about 3 hours to get the stupid thing to work. Oddly, none of the if statements I wrote caused it not to run. Yet it ran anyways and added crap to the forward history. I finally fixed the stupid forward history bug. Seriously, it was insane.
ThunderBrowse is now being translated over at Babelzilla, and hopefully a new version will come out soon. The Settings window now has a new tab for remapping what mouse clicks do. You might enjoy that.
The complete list of bugs and changes from the changelog is below.
I will try to get some screenshots of the new settings window soon.
